Play Book Tag discussion

I was recommended this by one of my GR friends, I don't remember if it was someone from this group. It is part of a long series about a universe with several Earth-like worlds, with their own civilizations, languages and practices. In this book, we have interplanetary love. The book has been called a Regency in space, in that it is mostly about the Earth woman trying to be accepted by the upper caste family of her off world love. The difference in cultures was interesting, how you could offend someone by doing something that in your own culture would be flattering, etc. I found the "true love" a bit too much, that these characters had some kind of invisible connection. Overall it was interesting, but I don't feel compelled to read more of the series right now.
