That is the second-most this year, after "family drama", when we read 187 titles in February.

I probably read more beach reads than any tag we've had so far this year. It seem to come at just the right time, in line with my retirement, when I wanted to read just something light.

For me it was perfect.

I too read more for Beach Reads tag than I have anything all year -- 15 titles! It was exactly what I too needed right now - light reading.

I actually think the total number of titles read would be much higher, perhaps highest of year if not for so many reading the same titles like the new Taylor Jenkin Reid.

Not surprised. It was the right tag for the right time :-) And I actually read two Beach Reads books - but never got the reviews posted so they aren't in the total.

I think I read two, but neither was really what I would consider beach reads, but others had tagged them that way. I think of it as more light, chick lit type stuff. I had one I'd hoped to get to but I had too many others to read and didn't get back to it.

I was a good tag though, like Cin, I didn't read anything I would really have considered a beach read but the few I read were either tagged or recommended as such. I had hoped to get more of that kind of light reading in but was with distant family all month so I was preoccupied.
