I always enjoy reading books by poets that I know. Three that came out recently were on my new year reading list and I read each poem by poem.

Maria Mazziotti Gillan's newest collection is When the Stars Were Still Visible

Susan Rothbard's collection Birds of New Jersey

Family Promises is sadly a posthumous collection from Laura Boss
