A place for introductions.

Hi, I'm Eva, and I read a lot of books about science, so I thought I'd create a place to talk about them.

Dan Falk (danfalk) | 2 comments Hi, I'm Dan -- I read science books pretty much all the time! I've also written three of them (Universe on A T-Shirt: The Quest for the Theory of Everything, In Search of Time: The Science of a Curious Dimension, and The Science of Shakespeare: A New Look at the Playwright's Universe). And I co-host a podcast called BookLab (http://booklabpodcast.com), along with Amanda Gefter; every two weeks (roughly), we talk about three different science books. You can find us on LibSyn, SoundCloud, and iTunes. Cheers!

Emily | 5 comments Hi, I'm Emily, and I *don't* read that many books on science...but I would like to, and also would like to get recommendations from my knowledgeable colleagues.

Hi everyone! Thanks for joining. I'm still figuring out the format of GoodReads groups. It looks like we can start a bookshelf and add books to it. Might be a good idea for suggested reading material.

Alasdair Shaw (alasdairshaw) | 1 comments Hello. I'm Alasdair and I've written a popular science book (The Best Bits of Physics). Wow, that sounds like AA or something!
I also write a lot of things like revision guides, practice exam questions and that kind of thing.
