I'm currently reading The Cartoon Guide To Genetics, and I have some exciting upcoming science books from Netgalley for review.

i just bought this book! Prehistoric Life: The Definitive Visual History of Life on Earth beautifully illustrated, written by working paleontologists.

I read that as an undergrad, um, a few years ago. I even loaned it to an English lecturer who was correcting a thesis for language, and wanted to understand what it was about. I think it's a great book.

I'm currently reading Abominable Science!: Origins of the Yeti, Nessie, and Other Famous Cryptids by Daniel Loxton, Donald R. Prothero

I'm reading The Hot Zone: The Terrifying True Story of the Origins of the Ebola Virus right now. I'm only about 40 pages into it, but I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm more into computer viruses, but I've always found (actual) viruses to be intriguing. I didn't really know much ebola going in, so everything's been a shock to me so far.

I finished the Cartoon Guide to Genetics, and drew a new piece of paper from my "TBR jar" (jar with books "to be read"). Now I'm reading a Dutch book called "Ontspoorde Wetenschap", which is about fraud in scientific research. I'm only in the introduction so far, but it should be interesting!

Keeping Women in Science (Wasn't what I expected)

Currently reading The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales and it is sooo good. It's about weird neurological disorders and it's so interesting and very well written.

I love that book!

Just finished The Sun's Heartbeat: And Other Stories from the Life of the Star That Powers Our Planet, which was amusing and interesting. Currently busy with Flying Dinosaurs: How Fearsome Reptiles Became Birds
