AXIS OF ANDES and NEW WORLD WAR, a alternate history series of ebooks about a third theatre of WWII in addition to Europe/North Africa, and Asia/Pacific. The South American or Andean theatre.... this is the story of WWII in South America.

In our history, there was a real war between Ecuador and Peru in 1941. It didn't amount to much, Ecuador had a decade of unstable revolving door governments and there wasn't much of a fight. It was over in a month, and Ecuador lost 60% of its territory.

In this alternate history, a fascist victory in 1930 gives Ecuador a decade of stability to prepare for war and seek out alliances. The Peru/Ecuador war when it comes, turns into a real knock down bloody fight, that steadily, directly or indirectly, drags almost every country in South America into the conflict. We got invasions and counter-invasions, we got trench warfare, ferocious sea battles, jungle war, civil wars, uprisings, rogue generals, revolution, you name it.

We also have the real history of the South American nations leading up to the precipice of war, examining the backgrounds of the combatants, their societies, their economies, their militaries, their major personalities. The books are framed as histories, mixed in with a series of personal narratives to help bring the work to life.
