heyoooo i’ve never made a book nook before but… i’m just here to rant about reading slumps BZJBSJS

like… i finally pick up a book because i was truly excited to start it… only to get let down in a few chapters HXHVZHZBZ 😭

literally the worst feeling in the world

and i keep on fooling myself into thinking it’ll get better but it just doesn’t 😭 i hardly get book slumps but HZJHZJZJZ i HATE it when i do

well maybe by the time someone sees it this reading slump would be over

also, just a warning to anyone who came: i’m quite literally crazy 🤪 and would probably come up with the weirdest/randomest topics to talk about so… :D be wArnEd

i think i’m currently having this reading slump where it’s like… i WANT TO READDDDHSJSHSJ but it just doesn’t seep in, it’s not as enjoyable as i thought it would be… and i rather read then scroll through tik-tok for the FIFTH mILLionTh tiMe 😭 but oh well

OMG YESYESYESYESYES I LOVE RW&RB SO MUCHEGUSGSJS (i kinda mildly threatened one of them to start reading RW&RB LMAO) and guess what? THEY. LOVE. IT. YESSSGSJSHSJS honestly one of my friends love it so much, she begged her parents to get the paperback for her bday, and she has not read books for YEARS before i recommended her RW&RB… i feel somewhat akin to a proud mother duck lol

Why are oranges called oranges, that is something I will never know

I mean did the colour orange came first or the fruit orange first?
So in my native language, the fruit orange literally means orange fruit. So IDK how to explain it to you but လိမ္မော်သီ: = fruit orange and then orange =လိမ္မော်
သီ: = fruit. SO they basically added the word fruit after the colour but is English it's literally the same ( but you can omit the word fruit)
This passage is represents my last two brain cells explaining a concept I know nothign about
