(Maybe I’m a little bit biased, but you get the point! XD)

In all seriousness, though, there are tons of people in this group who are willing to just listen — not just me. All you have to do is speak. . . . Or I guess, in this case, type!

Okay, so I’ve noticed no one has commented at all on this thread, so I just want to clarify something:

This chat is basically a general chat thread for you to just chat whatever! I did intend for it to be for you to just talk (or rant) about you, your day, whatever you’re going through, and the like!

So with that being said . . .

How is everyone doing? Everyone doing good? Or is there something you’re upset, stressed, angered, or sad (or any other emotion!) about?

School has started, and it’s a lot harder than last year, that’s for sure! I don’t know…I just want to get out of the school because I’ve been here for 9 years. I’m around the same people all day, in the same halls, doing the same stuff…Yeah. Sports are starting up now too. My volleyball team won our tournament this weekend! Soccer is going strong too. We haven’t started our season, but we got bumped up to the highest division in our regional league, so it should be hard but invigorating! Life’s just busy, I guess.

Yeah. Sorry for that ramble, but it helps getting the thoughts out.

That’s okay!! That’s why I created this thread — as a way for people just to get their thoughts out! :)

School is starting tomorrow and I’m going to a new one. A little scared but my parents still haven’t taken me school supply shopping. Can’t wait till tomorrow? Reading helps though so I’m reading until we go. I have to go but I’ll write tomorrow so you know what happens.

Yes!! Good luck! I remember when I switched schools; I too was very nervous! Having gone through it though, I’ll just tell you to be yourself! You don’t need a bunch of friends—just a couple good friends who are as close as family!

Keep reading, if that’s what helps you get through this all!

I went to school and it wasn’t as bad as people say it is in the books. I think that I’ll have a great year this year!!!

So today was was second day of the school and i was reading beatween my clases and people wher making fun of me, i mean, they don't think bad they just think i'm crazy.

Don’t worry too much about; everyone will be made fun of for something at least once in their life. However, I’d speak up if they were really hurting your feelings or worse.

Yeah that is. I’m sorry you got laughed at for READING!! It’s what everyone does but honestly everyone has a bit of crazy within them and I think that I’m the craziest of them all. I’m settling into school so let’s hope homework isn’t as bad as the parents say it is. The teachers and students seem nice and I’m happy about that. What about you Lita?

I'm so sad but happy this is my last year with all of this peole and i will need to chouse high school. Everyone says that 8th grade is easyest so i hope for it but for now everything is going realy goood.

Actually, most of my classmates dislike reading. One boy, Shivesh, in my 6th std, has probably never read a good book in his life. I'm not saying this to be mean, but he is the worst. He keeps pushing the girls and pulling their hair. He shoved one of my friends into a desk, and I punched him in the face. Luckily, there was only minimal blood.

I'm worried it's not like "university level" writing. But at the same time I shouldn't worry about that cause it's for a creative writing degree.

actually i have a bad day yesterday… my best friend in college just dropped out bcs she want to focused on her career and idk how to react like i’m happy for her but at the same time i feel sad:( i don’t think that i have the energy to go through this semester by myself…

I'm so sorry you had a bad day! I hope today is better. I would encourage to continue with college, especially if you like what you're studying. As depressing as it sounds, but friends will come and go. I'm also in college, and I've kind of lost contact with some of my friends from high school, so I do kind of know how you feel.

However, no matter what you do, like Serena said, we are here for you! And even if it's the middle of the night, I'm sure someone will be online (because of time zones). And if not, someone will be able to respond within a couple hours. :)

So, long monologue short, we're here for you! :)

ahhh really glad that someone know what i'm talking about TT yeah i will continue with college stuff it just feels different yk? especially in online classes, its kinda hard to make a friends through chat so it really affects me when she left;(

How are all of you??? Hope you are doing okay. :)

I’m doing okay, school started yesterday for me. It’s a lot, or will be soon. I have an algebra review test on Monday already, ugh. Band is soooo chaotic now, the new kids are crazeh. My teachers all know me from my mom and sister so it’s kinda weird but they are all super nice and funny. My best friend has been to close lately and I need some space, but I don’t want to cut her off completely. Any suggestions on how to do that in a nice way?

Oof, I'm not sure about your friend. Maybe try to hang out with a group of friends along with your best friend. That way, you aren't excluding your best friend but also hanging out with others.

I'm honestly not sure though. . . . This is just a tough situation. Sorry I'm not much of a help. :\

Half priced books!!! They don’t give very good prices though.

I too recommend Halfpriced books, but only for buying books. Selling them isn’t worth it there. Horrible prices for selling but buying there is amazing!

I borrowed the book Dune from my boyfriend over a year ago and still haven’t finished it :/ I told him I’d finish it by the end of this year. Imma go read it right now.
