Connor asks Gus to take Lara under her wing. Any idea as to why?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I'm not sure. At first I thought it was to make Gus feel more a part of the inner circle, but Lara didn't share any information. My second thought was Connor wanted to keep an eye on Gus and used Lara as his informant.

The whole thing made me a little pissed.

Once again, I agree with Sharon. I think this just shows how devious Connor can be, but after all, he was a CIA agent.

That does make sense. I couldn’t figure out his motive or plan. But even though Lara didn’t share with Gus, neither was she willing to share with Connor anything regarding Gus.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Jonetta, Do we know she didn't share information with Connor. I thought she was included in their round-table meetings with the President to discuss what path to take.

There was mention made that neither she or Everly would tell them anything regarding Gus.

Thanks

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I think he thought Lara would tell him anything he needed to know.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments Conner wanted Lara could keep and eye on Gus and report back what she was up to. I don't think it would have quite worked like Connor wanted.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Connor tells Roman that he did this so Lara could keep an eye on Gus, but Lara never actually followed through or at least there is not further mention of it.

Yes, it emphasizes Connor's devious nature. He has not changed in this regard.
