Here we will write a story all together! This is how it will work: Someone starts the story with a sentence (or more than one sentence) and the next one continues the story how they want. The goal is to write together a fun story! Starting with this sentence:

The gun shot forced me to wake up. "Not again", I thought.

The look on her face confirmed my fear. It was another attack.

Dead humans were lying on the street. Many trees were burned.

I didn't want to believe that another attack was happening. But it was. After 2 years of peace, we'd have to fight again for our freedom.

Again thousands and thousands of people will die like they died two years before.

And the worst of all? I could do nothing to fix. Or at least that's what I thought that morning.

message 13: by Eve (new)

Eve | 887 comments Mod
to fix it. *

message 14: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton | 2 comments Maybe I could fight in the war or help in the hospital.

That was the first thought that came to my mind. My mum, however, had a different view.

message 16: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton | 2 comments She wanted me to stay with her. Maybe there was a way we could leave nightmare together.

The days passed by and we were getting used to the gunshots and the daily death announcements. Italy was on the verge of destruction. Our enemies were now stronger than ever.

message 18: by Sa'arah (new)

Sa'arah (goodreadscomgoodreadscomamy) | 65 comments Our doom was impending. there was nothing we could do. The enemy had no weakness. Or so we thought....

It was the first day of December. The war was extremely hard for the soldiers with all the rain and snow. But that day, it was discovered that maybe our chance to win was not a new weapon or an atomic bomb, it was a person. At least that's what they told me when they kidnapped me from my house and my mum. "This has nothing to do with hate. We need you. Italy needs you"

message 20: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton | 2 comments I felt oddly empowered. I wanted to help Italy. I wanted to help my mum. I wanted to see her happy again.

However, I felt really hesitant to agree. I was clueless about what I would be expected to do.

message 22: by Sa'arah (new)

Sa'arah (goodreadscomgoodreadscomamy) | 65 comments And so hesitant as I was I agreed. It was something i would regret for the rest of my life

message 23: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton | 2 comments At night I would dream about the positives of all this but reality always crept it’s way back.

message 24: by Sa'arah (new)

Sa'arah (goodreadscomgoodreadscomamy) | 65 comments So what did i agree to i hear you asking. well...

message 25: by Eve (new)

Eve | 887 comments Mod
Firstly, I had to cut any connections with other people, including my mother, off. I was now the secret weapon. I shouldn't be seen anywhere. Secondly, ...

message 26: by Sa'arah (new)

Sa'arah (goodreadscomgoodreadscomamy) | 65 comments I had to kill. People. Other humans just like me who also deserved a shot at their lives. But i ended theirs for them. Whilst my own continued.

Shock was running through my veins while listening to this announcement. I had already regretted my positive response. But now there was no going back.

Now I was a prawn to them and I must finish what I started.

Eve | 887 comments Mod
And that's what I am going to do, I thought the second before I fell asleep to the new bedroom they gave me.

message 30: by Sa'arah (new)

Sa'arah (goodreadscomgoodreadscomamy) | 65 comments Me and my family had always hunted. We were known to be accurate. After my father died I had become the breadowner. Sometimes I would make a fortune out of just standing in the hugh street and shooting apples on peoples heads with precision. While it earned my living it was the peoples "entertainment" But there were many like me. Why was I chosen????

Things simply didn't add up in my head. So the first thing I did when I woke up was demand another conversation with the headmaster of this mission. I had to clear everything up.

message 32: by Sa'arah (new)

Sa'arah (goodreadscomgoodreadscomamy) | 65 comments He kindly agreed to see me and an hour later there I was, outside his office bracing myself for answers

Knocking his door I felt my panic taking over my emotions. What if what I was about to hear turned my whole world upside down? Not that this hadn't happened already. My thoughts were interrupted by his steady voice: "Come in"

message 34: by Saraf (new)

Saraf Tarisha | 295 comments Mod
"Take a seat. "

My hands were almost shaking as I shut down to a black chair, opposite to his. "I heard you had some questions you wanted to talk about"
"That's right" I answered trying so make my voice sound as steady as possible.

Eve | 887 comments Mod
"Why me?" This question was what I was here for. It was bothering more than anything else.

message 39: by Sa'arah (new)

Sa'arah (goodreadscomgoodreadscomamy) | 65 comments “Why you?”he asks mockingly trying to imitate my high pitched voice. “Well I’ve found myself asking that question for a while now”

message 40: by Eve (new)

Eve | 887 comments Mod
"But first I want to see your point of view. Why do you think it's you? What do you have that makes you important enough to stop a whole war?" he asked.

message 41: by June (new)

June | 38 comments "I-i........ don't know" i stuttered. The only thing I wanted at that time was this to be over.

message 42: by Eve (new)

Eve | 887 comments Mod
The look he gave me made me realize how helpless I must have looked at the moment. And I couldn't allow that to happen. I had to show my powerful and bossy self. "You tell me. That's what I came here for"
