I'm late to this party and now trying to remember who I'd initially cast while reading. I think I chose Zazie Beetz for Eva and also Michael Ealy for Shane. But I have 2 additional actors to submit for both. Jurnee Smollett and Kendrick Sampson. I didn't pick anyone for CeCe and I can't remember the book enough to just choose but Bresha Webb would be fine too ... and maybe Jazmyn Simon.
