John R July 2021 is the centenary of the Communist Party of China. Fraternal greetings to all 19 million (!) members of the CPC.

Do any group members have any suggestions for good books about the CPC?

I haven’t gotten a chance to read it yet but I just bought Afterlives of Chinese Communism: Political Concepts from Mao to Xi! But I honestly don’t know if it’s gonna be some western chauvinism bs or actually good lol
