Jen (jentrewren) | 1114 comments I enjoyed this one. I'm not a big romance reader, especially historical romance. Generally don't like the attitudes towards women or how pathetic they are willing to be. The addition of Zombies and the women being kick ass warriors definitely improved the story. Without that they were pretty pathetic with their incessant husband seeking.

Robin P | 5753 comments I couldn't get far in this because it was just the same joke over and over again.

ShazM | 480 comments I've borrowed this but haven't got to it yet as I didn't realise the women were kick ass warriors so I haven't bothered! I will definitely go for it now.

Theresa | 15533 comments I thought this was pretty awful. Author mostly just took paragraphs of P&P and added "and zombies". The movie adaptation was not bad and actually is an example of how the movie is far better than the book.

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 8416 comments I rather liked it. It was just a fun fast read, using almost entirely Jane Austen's dialogue (which is still brilliant), but with a twist of zombies. Loved the scene w/ Lady Catherine de Bourgh!

Jen (jentrewren) | 1114 comments I will confess I don't think I ever read P & P the original. Our high school texts were all Shakespeare and then I went strictly sciences and didn't read much except Dean Koontz and Stephen King until I hit 30. I have no idea how much is original and how much is new other than the zombies and fights (the bits I liked best).

Middle of the school year so my brain is ready for a nap after a full day of Chem, Physics, Bio and Psychology. P & P & Z gave me a brain break so all good by me.
