Throughout the story, many references were made to Andrew Gillette, Nikki’s brother, who died from a fall and a drug overdose. It was even suggested that his death could have been a suicide or an accident. Did this feel unresolved?

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) Not at all! I was just thinking that when the book finished. What happened to that thread? There are two more books in the Savannah series though with Reed and Nikki. Maybe it is picked up in one of them. Or maybe it was added to show the dysfunction in Nikki's family.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Yes, this was unresolved. I have a feeling it will come back in the next book in the series.

I’m glad I’m not alone in this way of thinking. There was all this build up to…something.

Susan (cruelshoes) | 158 comments I kept thinking about Andrew's death and it just didn't seem he was that depressed to commit suicide.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments I think Andrew was murdered. His accidental death/suicide being at the exact time that Cliff didn't come to meet him caught my eye. It is why I suspected Cliff might be the killer.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments His death still leaves questions open. I didn't think he committed suicide. Now that you mention it Lauren, it is suspicious. Cliff should have been on my list.

Another great theory😏 We are so good at latching on to them. Cliff is definitely a good suspect.
