What are your thoughts on this book?

Kirsten (kmcripn) Still making my way through this book. As a white American who believes in the values set out in the Constitution (as well as those espoused by Christ), this is a hard read. The way they justified their hate and made it palatable to people who were inherently racist and did not want to be consciously racist is horrifying.

It is a good companion read to the audiobook I've been making my way through: The Race Beat: The Press, the Civil Rights Struggle, and the Awakening of a Nation
