Yes, I know the zodiac calendar doesn't perfectly align with the monthly calendar we use. But in my family there are three August birthdays, and all of them share the astrological sign of Leo.

* The King of Beasts: read a book whose Author's First AND Last initials are in in: KING OF BEASTS (Letters may be used only as often as they appear in the target phrase.)
* One of the "big cats": read a book with a Cat on the cover (bonus if it's a big cat) - Post the COVER
* Lions are found in Africa, mostly south of the Sahara: read a book that is set in Africa (tell us the country)
* Lions are one of the "Big Five" sought by safari participants (these days mostly just for photos): Read a book with a '5' in total pages OR in the original publication date (tell us the page count or original publication date)

RULES OF THE CHALLENGE

All books used must be a minimum of 100 pages long - Page length determined by HARDCOVER 1st edition. If there is no Hardcover, then the most popular paperback governs page #.

You may read in any format - text, audio or e-book.

You MUST finish the book before you can claim credit for completing a task.

A book may be used for only one task, even if it would satisfy the challenge for multiple tasks.

EXAMPLE of a successful post:
