Whenever I used to search for any book lists on google, goodreads used to show up. One day I found out more about it and was interested to try it out and here I am!

my english teacher made everyone is my grade get goodreads, 2 years ago, and that's how i found out bout it, but i deleted that acc and created this one!

I knew about this platform, since whenever I used to search for a book, Goodreads reviews popped up but I didn't know about it. I used to think it was only for sharing reviews and rating books.

But my sister introduced me to this properly and on her guidance, I made an account.

Well, watching Harry Potter studio tour hauls is my guilty pleasure, so one day I was watching a Harry Potter studio tour haul and I stumbled upon the booktuber Ben Alderson. I was watching his videos a lot and I heard him talk about Goodreads so I decided to make an account. That was back in 2016 and I only posted one review. I quickly forgot about Goodreads because I was too stressed with school then in 2018 I joined the Facebook group called Wilde Readers (Louise Pentland the YouTuber's group) and they were talking about Goodreads, so I decided to use the app again and that's basically how I got into it lol

My elder sister introduced me to this because she saw me writing books/names I've read on a stray piece of paper and then trying to put it in a plastic cover. 🤣🤣🤣

Think I found out about it through googling when I was trying to find a particular book and I thought why not join GR. At first, I only used it to locate books, but then some of my friends were on here, met other people on here who recommended other books for me to read, and vice versa.

What I like about GR, I've found books, both by chance and by recommendations that I might not have even heard of, and to also try other genres while reading.

during the pandemic when my reading skyrocketed, I found this and it was heaven fir a reader like me!

I have no memory of how I discovered this. It happened before covid that’s all I know.

I was looking for a book online, at first I kinda didn't know how to use it, it was way back in 2020, then time went by, and I got an email from GR stating some new update or something, in 2021, I reopened another account, and that's how I got here!!
