For some reason, I think I've already read this... but why is it in my tbr shelf???

MoonLight | 1519 comments Yaaaay I'm really excited for it and after a busy week I'm so ready to read a cute romance novel like this. I think I should take a back seat from Classics for some time and this is the perfect getaway.

Yesssss, it is a really good book!

MoonLight | 1519 comments No It's not. It's a trap. get away from it. Seriously, Why many like this S***? The comedy parts are fun I admit, but the romance is so unrealistic and disgusting. THAT kind of things never happen in real life. The atmosphere is also super boring. 90 percent of the story is happening in the B & G HQ and nothing interesting really happens. Except for unexpected for no reason kissing. Guys, you'd better admit it. It might be a fun and easy read, but the whole thing is just so SHALLOW

Munsaka | 211 comments Okay i only realised that the hating game is our BOTM and guys Omg i'm sorry but i hate it
it's taking forever to progress maybe that is the point but i hate slow burns but i also hate insta love most cases. i like the fast pace but not to fast keep it moderate.
any way back to the hating game ....the book has put me in a reading slump that i'm trying to get out of. hopefully it gets better

oh no I'm so sorry! i think this opinion is mutual because a lot of people don't like it!

MoonLight | 1519 comments You can say that again! I myself voted for The Hating Game, so there's no-one to blame, but pleeeeease let's have sth really GOOD for next month. The genre doesn't matter, but I want to be happy that I read it in the end not regret it.

ofc, any suggestions?

MoonLight | 1519 comments Yes actually! I've been wanting to read The Midnight Library since forever and I think it'd be great to have it as our BOTM. I've seen it in MAAAANY of our friends here tbrs, so I assume that many people will join us. Plus, it won the goodreads choice award last year in fiction category and it has a great rating as well as a large number of good ratings and reviews. Anyone else has any other suggestions?

MoonLight | 1519 comments Oh come on! people are voting for Seven Husbands of Hugo. I don't like the idea of a woman who has had seven husbands at all😂

😂 it is a really good book! It is so heartbreaking

MoonLight | 1519 comments Well I think it's better than The Hating Game at least😂 That's some progress! And why did you put that with the Midnight Library?😂

I was also planning to read it but …it looks intimidating because of how popular it is.

message 27: by leyla (new) - added it

leyla I read the Spanish Love Deception first and I loved it. I think then when I went to read The Hating Game my expectations were too high. I thought this was an average workplace-romance book.

MoonLight | 1519 comments Yes honey it was. It was really shallow.

Hey Moonlight, have you read or are planning to read the Spanish love deception?

MoonLight | 1519 comments I haven't read and am not planning to read it in soon future unfortunately. Why?

Actually, it’s similar to the hating game but many people say it’s better. Unfortunately, unlike my fellow goodreads members I didn’t enjoy it that much. So I was curious what you’ll think about that.

MoonLight | 1519 comments Well if it's anything close to The Hating Game I obviously won't read it😂 but isn't a fake-dating to lovers trope? It can be different from The Hating Game which was Enemies to lover. Maybe it's in some other ways. Well, whatever it is I won't read it anytime soon.😂 I'm back to my comfort zone reading the greatest classics.

I’m impressed that your comfort zone is greatest classics.

As for me, I’ve been too disappointed by hyped books which do not live up to expectations, so i guess I’m gonna read graphic novels or webcomics for now.

MoonLight | 1519 comments Thanks...and good luck!
