The Maidens by Alex Michaelides is our August group read, winning 48% of Snail votes. (We have Ushashi to thank for nominating this book!)

Michaelides was born & raised in Cyprus, and attended college in the USA. His debut novel, The Silent Patient, won a 2019 Goodreads Choice award.



The Maidens is a new 2021 mystery/crime thriller with some fantasy or mythological elements.
