Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone has any experience of publishing through Austin Macauley? I have an offer that looks good, but I wanted to know if anyone has already done this and can offer advice. Many thanks, P.

Hi Paul, I would check with Writer Beware first. Not one hundred percent sure, but fairly confident Austin Macauley is a vanity press to be avoided.

Austin Macaulay is a vanity press. There’s a simple test every hopeful writer must apply. Follow it and you can’t go wrong:

No matter how reasonable the excuse they give you, money flows to the author, from the publisher/agent. Never the other way.

It is a vanity press and if you read the reviews, run, don't walk away from therm. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't related to Author Solutions since, from the reviews, they have all the same issues including gouging your for things you can do yourself.
