So. Freaking. Cute.

- this was a pretty big set! Nightbringer is dead but he had forgiveness in the end and he was able to find peace with his old queen. I’m happy for him, in a way.

- the commandant is dead! About time! She deserved her death, and though I felt a little for her at the end, she was still a monster. I was really surprised when Mira appeared but I’m glad she got to kill Keris! It was definitely a big plot twist, like expected!

- it did feel a little too neat and tidy when Mira agreed to become soul catcher, but I’m also glad it happened, because she seems well suited for the job and this means that Elias and Laia can have a happy ending! Plus she’ll have some help with the jinn that agreed to stay behind, which I found really cute.

- aww yay empress Helene! She’s well-suited for the job, and I’m glad that she’s still standing strong despite Harper’s death. He’d want that for her.

- also it’s so cute that Laia will be the new storyteller after mamie, and that mamie and Laia will raise Zach!! He’s going to turn out well ;)

I agree! It was nice to see that the Nightbringer was forgiven in the end. I too was happy for him

I agree I did feel for her when her mother turned her away. But I get it, Keris is not the lovey she once was

Hmm really true, it was pretty tidy up and out of the blue but yeah I reckon she would be a better soul catcher. She doesn’t have much connection to the living except Laia, unlike Elias. Which makes her perfect for the job
Yes! I was so worried Elias and Laia wouldn’t be together or that Elias would have died in the end!
