The Next Best Book Club discussion

Does anyone rushes to complete a book(fic) so that you can watch the movie. You get excited to see the characters from the book played by fantastic actors (sometimes not), the location, the dialogues ....
And then get upset when they don't follow the storyline, and create different story. I know that they have to make it under 2 hours but it is disappointing when the story takes a different path.

Yesterday i saw Paper Towns and I was a bit disappointed because I loved the book.
I just want to say that If they had followed the book, the movie would have been much better.

Reassigned this thread to the correct folder.

My brain usually ends up foegetting one or the other.
