World cat (our preferred source for confirming page counts) has this one at 352 pages. Can you tell me what (if anything) is on pages 344-352 of your copy? Some things we count & some things we don't. :)

There seem to be two hardcover editions, the other one with 352 pages obviously being this one: 9780063003460.

The edition 9780008437077 has the text (including a dictionary that I´d think is part of the text) till page 336, than an author´s note till 340, Acknowledgement till 342 and note from the cover designer till 343.

The cover designer describes why he chose this kind of design for the book.

I don´t insist, but I´ve got the book before me, and it´s got 343 pages including all that I described above. :)

I'll put 343 pages for now, but as we don't give cover artists an author credit on Goodreads. I'm really not sure if that should be included. Hopefully the moderator will weigh in next week.
