Self-Published Only Club discussion

Hello All,

Let me start by giving credit to Abby for starting this group out of a desire to support SP authors. Appreciation of the importance of this and mutual interest has been expressed through many comments. A home was therefore established for all members to unite in a common desire.

In the spirit of the group purpose, I would love to start an independent reading for the authors of this group to have an opportunity to have their book read and reviewed.

With a growing membership, the potential to truly make a difference for self-published/indie authors is within our grasp.

All interested S/P authors must be a member who either has their book listed on our bookshelf or has put in a request to have it added. (Please note: all requests should be placed in the Calling SP Authors thread.)

Please list your book in one of the three types below.

At the end of August, I will post a September Reading Corner thread and create a selection from the information provided.

Authors that participate in reviewing and are not part of the current months selection will be added to the next month's Independent Reading.

I hope the variety will engage all members to participate.

I appreciate any feedback you wish to share.

Hey Dana,

Welcome to the group! And I appreciate your interest.

I noticed Abby had added A Heart's Salvation. I am keeping a list of all requests, so I will add A Heart's Revenge to my request list. Which means that even though a moderator can only add books to the bookshelf, I count it as being there.

Since these books are part of an on going series, I've got an idea.

I think this is where I request that you add my series to the bookshelf, but first I want to say that it is absolutely wonderful that you are taking the time to do this. The pay it forward concept is something that I had thought about doing a while back myself, but I had no idea (nor the time) to figure out how to do it.

At any rate, I would like to nominate my Blood / Dana Hartman series, starting with book one, New Blood. I will check out the list and come back and post the review once I have read one of the books (or more).

Hi Debbie if you want to see the bookshelf and you are on a laptop just scroll to the top of the feed and on the right, you will see the different options like Bookshelf, discussion, options, etc all the books for this club are listed on the bookshelf if you are looking for books for other authors you can click on the hyperlink at the top of the page that reads Self-Published only club that will take you out to all the discussion and then you would want to go into the independent reads in this discussion are where you will find the Reading corner for series or books from other authors who want to pay it forward.
