What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

*SPOILERS AHEAD* I read this book around 206-2018. It features a girl who can take wounds from people, into her own body. She heals quickly after. I remember later in the book she saves her friend who nearly dies from some sort of injury on their back. The plants in the universe are deadly, with a great valley of them. As they journey through the valley, she is taken by one but it turns out not to be evil, and she survives.

It's a fantasy Y/A. She's around 17, and if I remember correctly, has no parents

That sounds a lot like Touch of Power by Maria V Snyder.

There are two types of flowers/plants that look the same but smell and act differently. I think they were known as Death Lillies and Peace Lillies.
