Wow, I had totally missed the post about the cancellation of Spring!

I'm sorry that Josh had also to deal with negative comments on top of her frustration about not managing to write the novella.

Maybe it will work in the future.

I didn't see that blog post either for some reason. I will link it above so it's easier to see.

It's such a hard thing to promise something and then have to cancel knowing you're going to upset folks. But it's a fact of life and no one said writing was ever easy. If only it was easy to be more understanding as a general reader.

I think I knew that was coming too, but it's different to actually see it in writing.

As I look back on last year, I think this was the big red flag. I wish I had heeded the warnings of burn-out sooner. I could have saved myself and readers a whole lot of pain.
