Caroline snubbed Jane Bennet when she visited and left her on the doorstep without a way home. The Colonel, tired of waiting for Charles to make their meeting, left in a huff. He found Jane on the doorstep and offers to take her to Gracechurch Street… and the rest is history.

She was abusive to her step-daughters as their mother was in trade. They all married in the same day: Jane/Bingley, Mary/Mr. Collins, Kitty/a Lucas son, Lydia/ Col. Forster.

Whispers of the Heart: Jann Rowland: Charles arrives at Netherfield already married

Consequence & Consequences: "Ooops" A Regency Romance inspired by P&P. Jane marries the Lord Hilford.

Talia, I know this is terribly late but I had a book in mind that fit this category wonderfully and just could not remember the name of the book or the title!!! I loved this story, first read it on FF and it was published in Oct. '20. I couldn't find it in any of my lists and didn't know where to look on Amazon because of the tltle/author thing. The story itself was really memorable to me. Finally found it. I (slap forehead) had purchased it last November. Ta dah!
