I think how you interpret Alaska's death depends on what is going on in your life
I, for one, think it was a suicide.
"ya'll smoke to enjoy it, i smoke to die"

In the moment she was that was her way of scaping the labrynth. Everyone has its way, and you cant blame anyone for wanting to stop their suffering
i dont think we can ever escape the labyrinth of suffering. the labyrinth is complex, a maze, difficult to get out of. but i also think we create the labyrinth ourselves, i think Alaska was stuck in her own psychological labyrinth. i think labyrinths are subjective. maybe we are all stuck in a labyrinth without knowing. i think the question of "how will we escape?" would be better interpreted as "if we will ever escape?". from Alaska's point of view, it seems like the labyrinth destroyed her before she could ever escape, or maybe she was destined from the start to never escape. maybe the labyrinth was her fate. something to think about.
