Once There Were Wolves by Charlotte McConaghy

A moving, page turner novel about wolves, sisterhood and how life intertwines with nature and others.

I have always been drawn to the YellowStone wolves reintroduction where 31 wolves were introduced to Yellowstone and how it positively impacted and improved the ecosystem. If you have not already seen, you have to watch the time lapse video.

Have to go back and read Migrations next.

Powerful, page turner. Similar to "Migrations", the author tackles ecosystem impact of climate change, mixing in male-female and human-beast tensions.

For fans of "The Overstory", there are several passages reminiscent of how that book brings nature to life.

I gave both of this author's books 5 stars but the second book is tighter, with stronger characters and more fully developed narrative. Recommended read.
