I felt the same way about young adult books this summer! I read The Selection and was surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. I'm now planning to read two more books in the series for the fall challenge.

I was told that YA books have YA protaganists from reading them some have very evident sex and violence. Many i would ban from my YA grandchildren

of non-Pratchett, I enjoyed Velocity Weapon, Leonardo da Vinci, Lilith's Brood and Ace of Spades


I am a tough scorer. No 5*, but several 4* this time. Of these, I think I enjoyed these 3 the most.
