Oh wow, I didn't know this was so famous or even that there's a book.. I've seen the movie years ago by coincidence and haven't yet met anyone who watched it or even knew it. I am interested in reading the book with you, this will be fun :)

I looked it up in the library, but they don't have a copy. The German translation is out of stock and will be available in 2022 again 😅 So I just ordered a paperback copy but it takes up to 3 weeks to arrive. Fingers crossed I can join you 🙈

Hello! Is this going to be a free flow type of read where we just read on our own as buddies and share as we go or is it structured? I'm not new to reading groups as you know ;) but new to buddy reads! :) I have my copy at the ready. Looking forward to reading with you all!

When you do buddy read, you can share as you read, as much or as little as you want. However, it's best to let everyone know where you're at via chapter/page/percentage numbers, and any specifics, especially spoilery ones, should have spoiler tags around them.

Wowwww! I did not expect it to be THIS different. To be honest, I’m not liking it very much. And Sally, ugh damn it Sally! I’m glad this one is short. And I don’t know if I’d read any more in this series. Not if they are wrote like this one!

Uh oh. I just started this today. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint because I've always loved this movie.

you may like it so I'd try it.

My library copy should be in by the end of the week, then I will jump in. Keeping my fingers crossed! I’m in that same boat of also having loved the movie.

I'm listening to it as an audio book. The narration is meh but still love the overall story so I'll finish it I suppose. lol
