Introductions!

I honestly don't think I can name one favorite RomCom. I love pretty much everything by Christina Lauren. I really like Kristen Callihan, Emma Chase, Lauren Layne, etc. etc.
The last couple 5 stars I gave were for Soulmate Equation, and Red,White, and Royal Blue. Anyway, nice to meet ya!

Hi, Jen! Nice to meet you! I'm so sorry I'm seeing your introduction so late. It's been a very long couple of months for me. But thank God for books, right! I'm hoping to read Soulmate Equation as soon as it's available from the library! Sounds like a great book!

Welcome to the group Kimberly! I have yet to read The Hating Game though I have started it a couple of times. I'm not sure I had trouble getting in to it -- maybe it's the writing style like Jen mentioned -- but I saw the trailer for the movie and it looks great so I'll have to read it quickly!

My #1 fave (so far) is Beach Read by Emily Henry but I also LOVED Second First Impressions, What You Wish For and People we meet on vacation!

My favourite romcoms/adult fiction so far is The Wedding Party series by Jasmine Guillory, and I'm currently finishing The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

I’m Laura from Oregon! I started reading romance in high school with Nora Roberts. My love of it grew from there!
Some of my all time favorites include:
The Bridal Quartet series by Nora Roberts
The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood
Beach Read by Emily Henry
Happy reading!

I'm Lena, posting from the UK and I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you!
I've been in a rom-com mood for a few months now, devouring one book after another, so I thought I'd finally join a group here to meet some people who can relate :) I feel like I read so many good books lately that I'd love to share my love for them with other bookworms.
So... anyone up for a little group read? I'm not sure what the rules here are as it's my first post or any activity on goodreads besides an occasional review, so i'm probably posting it in the wrong place, but if anyone's up for it, so am I! :) I don't mind rereading something, either.
:)

1. Better Than the Movies
2. A Lot Like Adiós
3. The Reading List
But if you'd rather read something else I'm open to other suggestions :)

Oh, and The Spanish Deception is a gem too!
Wanna join me and Kimberly for a little group read?
Hi everyone! It’s so cool to see all of your comments! Welcome! I would love to do a group read, too, Lena! I believe you (or anyone) can create a thread for a group read!

My favorite RomComs are tied the Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang and The Roommate Risk by Talia Hibbert. Hoping to make friends and connections in this community! Happy reading everyone!

My name is Anna and I'm totally new to Goodreads, yet it has soon become my favourite bookish place! There are SO much books I've found on here I'd otherwise never found.
For as long as I can remember romcoms are my favourite both in films and books. I've read and loves so much of them I can't pick favourites. I've been looking for a place like this and I hope I can make a ton of new friends here!

The Spanish Love Deception is on my TBR as well. I'd love to do a buddy read some time

if you have any recomendations i would appreciate some. well thanks! hope all of you have a good read!

I just finished “Get a life Chloe brown” by talia hibbert.
But so far my favorite for this year that I was just introduced to was “the Spanish love deception” by Elena armas.
I will admit I am scrolling thru reading what you all have written so that I can find what to read next! Thanks so much for the group of like minded people!

My current favorite rom com is “How Sweet It Is” by Dylan Newton. I absolutely love it.
My most recent rom com read is “Spoiler Alert” by Olivia Dade. Ranked it 6 on rom coms I’ve read so far this year.
And my next read is either gonna be “Beach Read” or “Good Girl Complex”
If anyone annotates their books and has any tips I’m always looking for better ways to annotate!!
Or any recommendations!!

I always loved reading, but I started reading rom-coms because of an recommendation from my best friend - since then, I’m OBSESSED!
One of my favorite rom-com is “It ends with us” - I know, i know, i know, this book is really popular rn and every second person is sayin “It ends with us is my fav book”, but trust me when i tell you: this book made me cry so many times and i’m not an emotional person AT ALL! I’ve read it 3 times and i always needed a whole package of handkerchiefs 😭
Am i funny? Sometimes i do think i’m the funniest person on earth but i really am NOT funny at all haha :’)
Next to reading, i absolutely love going to the gym, baking and swimming! ☀️
I hope my little introduction was informative - if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

I've been on Goodreads for a while but just recently started writing more reviews and I'm pretty active on Bookstagram. I haven't joined any groups till now but I've just recently started reading more Rom-Coms so this seemed like a nice fit. I think my two favorites recently were The Buy-In by Emma St.Clair (well pretty much any of her books) and I loved Shipped by Angie Hockman.

I have been reading rom-coms consecutively for about two years now, and it has easily become my favourite genre, which is why I am looking to obsess over some gems with those who too have a similar love for them!
As for my favourites, I could not put down “The Marriage Game”, “The Little Bookshop Under the Sienne”, and “The Wedding Ringer”, and I could not recommend those enough! Currently I am speeding through the “Love in the City” series by Jen Morris, and I can easily see these becoming my favourites.
My goal has always been to write a book, so I am currently in the midsts of beginning the planning for a potential rom-com; however, I am still a full-time student so who knows if I will even find the time..
Feel free to message me anytime! :)

I love rom-coms. I don't indulge in them all the time, but in-between series or when I need light reading. I have been extremely disappointed by some of the books I have read that left me without laughing.
Some of the best rom-coms I have found, have been on Amazon prime, by authors who are less popular. My favorite book has to be "You Complicate Me"
by Isabel Jordan

My favourite Rom-Com authors are Sarah Sutton, Kasie West and Rachel Harris.
My all-time favourite book series is My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris. It is the best, and it tided me through really rocky times a few years back.
Pleasure to meet you all! ❤️

My name is Kate and I'm excited to find a group of Rom Com loving readers. I'm from Northern Illinois.
I just discovered this genre of books within the last year. During COVID I re-ignited my passion for reading and need of something sweet and heart warming.
My favorite Rom Com has been The Cheat Sheet By Sarah Adams but in all honestly I'm a lover of all love stories.
I can't wait to engage with some love swooning readers!

My name is Rosa and I live in Florida. Before covid I used to read historical novels, but in the past months I started reading love comedies because they make me happy. Now I’m addicted.
The romantic comedies that I’ve loved the most are “P.S from Paris,” “Madame Love, Actually,” “Life’s too short,” and “The happy ever after Playlist.” They all made me laugh, cry and feel happy and hopeful. I really like Abby Jimenez and can’t wait to read her new book. I’m so excited to connect with all of you, discover wonderful books and share our love for romance.
Hi everyone!
Mandy in Texas, here. I love everything cheesy and happily ever after, so I am excited to have found this group!
Current faves are "Red, White, & Royal Blue" by Casey McQuiston and "The Reunion" by Meghan Quinn. Also loving Ali Hazelwood's novellas and of course "The Love Hypothesis."
Love making bookish friends, especially fellow romcom lovers, so feel free to friend me or reach out at any time!

I live near Kansas City. I’m obsessed with rom-coms lately (I’m sure my reading challenge proves that.

I am a debut author my book, An Immortal Sacrifice just came out on Monday.
I was wondering if your book club would be interested in reading my book?
Thank you and I hope you have a lovely day.
Kind Regards,
Denise Summers

I'm new(ish) to GR. I've been a member for ages but never really had the time to get involved until now.
How can I choose one booko out of so, so many choices. Here are some of my all-time fave rom-coms:
I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella. This had me laughing on the train and people looking at me funny.
The Little Bookshop of Love Stories by Jaimie Admans. A completely lovely read about two clumsy people that keep falling over, falling in love with books and with each other
And A Good Heart is Hard to Find by Trisha Ashley. I just loved the woman who dresses all in black and goes walking in graveyards at night to get inspiration for her next gothic horror novel
So many more but these will do for a start
xx

Rom coms are the genre that really got me into reading and I love them so much! Fave authors are Sophie Kinsella & Marian Keyes. My all time fave rom com, however, is the worst best man! Loved it so much!
Looking forward to getting to know you all.
Also read above about a group read & I would definitely be interested in that! X

Please post your name and your favorite romantic comedy! You can also include any fun facts you'd like to share.
I'll go first --
My name is Emily and my favorite romantic comedy is THE EX-TALK by Rachel Lynn Solomon. I bought that book as a present for myself after I had my son back in March, actually unsure of whether or not I would like it. I ended up loving it and I'm hoping to re-read it before the year is over!
