I have. I started last night and read for like 5 hours so I'm 75% done.

It's longer than I expected. Almost 500 pages.

I know, I was so surprised when I looked at the length in my kindle! Do you like it so far?"

It's a definite 4 star so far. If it had any real romance it would probably be a 5 star.

(view spoiler)[ I'm very torn about whether to give this a 4 or 5 star rating. The book was amazing and deserves a five star but it was missing romance which is one of the main things I love in books. >.< Gah!

Anyway I liked Meg as a character. I sympathized with awkwardness and innocence about the world. I disliked Asia . Simon and Sam were cute. I like how they got along with Meg. Grandfather Erubus was also cute. I liked him.

I still don't know what Tess was but she was sweet in her own way. I'm glad that all the bad guys except the controller who is still at large died in such a gruesome way. I was very satisfied to read that. I hope in the next book that the Others torture him in such a way that he wishes he was never born! lol. ^-^

This book is really slow, but there's something about it that keeps me drawn in.

I have to agree that it was slow. However, something just kept me hooked and I had to give it four stars. I really liked the world building in this as well as the dynamic characters. I felt the world was very creative and original. Can't wait to read the next book!
