Orphan X question

I'm sorry if I am doing this incorrectly but I had a friend tell me about a book or a series where the main character is kind of like Batman. A millionaire/billionaire who's had family members killed and he uses his wealth to battle the evil/terrorists. I love great revenge/vigilante stories so if you could recommend any, that would be great! Thanks!
