Oooook, you asked
*deep breath*
Firstly the whole terrorist thing because we don’t even acknowledge terrorists as Muslims because they go against everything we believe in
Secondly, the whole muslim women are oppressed thing because we have a different idea of freedom and we aren’t forced to wear a scarf or not date, it’s what we believe in. Like, when women want to wear miniskirts without being objectified, they say ‘we should have freedom over our choice of clothing’, we’ll it works the other way too
Also, the assumption that if you’re a strict practicing muslim, you’re ‘so conservative and backward’
I’m a strict practicing muslim but I have friends who aren’t and I can still function like a normal human being, and even though I wear the veil, if you talked to me, I’m fun and not at all ‘super religious’
Then the whole thing about how Islam isn’t tolerant towards lgbtq, and other religions which is totally not true. We don’t agree with it but we don’t hate on it, we have to respect ALL people and for people who think everybody has to ‘support the gay’ that’s not true, like, I have friends who are lgbtq, I don’t judge them because it’s not what they believe
Anyways there’s more but I gotta go lol
Thanks for listening to my TED rant 🙇‍♀️

Nada ♡ | 1 comments Does anyone know how to be better at praying your Prayers on time instead of delaying them? I have an app which gives me reminders of each prayer and everything but I always say I’ll pray and then forget and accidentally delay it till next prayer. Any tips?

If you have a good memory, try to remember the prayer times in your head so that around the right time, you’re automatically thinking of it
Also I’d you have a reminder set, when it goes off, tell someone else in your house to go pray, or ask if they’ve prayed. Imo they always ask you back, so it’ll give you some outside motivation
And you could just ask someone to remind you 10 mins before time ends and make sure you go pray

i agree, when you have someone else praying with you it's easier because you're able to have someone remind you/someone to remind to pray

Amtal (taylor's version) | 47 comments yes and u both get sunnah for it

Hmm…i think one way is immediately or at least trying your best to pray as close after Azan.
Like, better done as soon as possible
So you won’t forget ?
