Book 1 (view spoiler)[ Okay interesting start! I wonder if Gabriel really doesn't have a specific bloodline and power or if it just hasn't been revealed yet? (hide spoiler)]

Book 2 (view spoiler)[ I'm glad that the vampire told him to go back, because I thought there's no way I missed all those years of him training and getting married and even having a child!

Also, I love that Gabriel said "Who told you I'm a fucking hero?" He's not saying he's a good guy, just how he survived. (hide spoiler)]

Book 3 (view spoiler)[ I like seeing Gabriel grow and beat up his bullies. I wonder what this mysterious bloodline is that he's from?

Astrid is a firecracker and I love that pushes boundaries. I'm excited to see Gabriel marry her, though I'm worried that she's dead in present time :( (hide spoiler)]

Book 4 (view spoiler)[ I don't love that Gabriel keeps jumping from when he was young forward to his journey with Chloe. It confuses me and I'm like, where is Astrid??

I am sad that the tiger and her master and Chloe all died. That was pretty terrible.

I don't really understand what it means that Dior is the holy grail. Can she bring the sun back? (Also super surprised that she was a girl!) (hide spoiler)]

Book 5 (view spoiler)[ It's sad that Gabriel got thrown out of the brotherhood, but at least he went with Astrid and they have their family. I wonder where his wife and daughter are now and if they're okay?

Crazy that he stopped the Forever King from taking over and pushed him back underground. (hide spoiler)]

Book 6/End (view spoiler)[ I can't believe Chloe wanted to kill Dior! I was so excited that she didn't die and then she betrayed them. Good for Gabriel for stopping them and getting Dior to safety.

I thought that Gabriel's family had died, but I didn't want it to be true. How awful for him.

So at the end it seems like Gabriel isn't really a prisoner, right? He's watching and waiting for a chance to kill the Forever King and get his revenge. At least that's what I think after the Dawn chapter. (hide spoiler)]

15%(view spoiler)[So far I am loving this book so very much I can see why so many rave about how good it is. The characters are so very interesting I especially like Gabriel he tells it how it is and does not mince words when telling his story he is very interesting to read about a life full of tragedy and strife and so much more. I am loving the plot so far Gabriel is telling his life story to a vampire with nothing left out I am really enjoying how he is telling the story as well as the brief banter between the vampire and Gabriel looking forward to finishing this book. Yep that is what kept me reading

28%(view spoiler)[I am loving this book so very much looking forward to reading more. The characters are really amazing Gabriel is still an amazing character I really like seeing the many sides of him both from the life story he is telling and how he is when talking to the vampire he is a interesting character. The plot is still amazing it moves on to telling more about Gabriel skipping ahead in time this time to tell more with some vampires after a boy named Dior it takes Gabriel a little time to decide to go to them telling some things Gabriel is married and has a daughter no idea about their status looking forward to reading more. 41%(view spoiler)[This book is well worth the hype and it better when reading it slowly. I still love Gabriel so much as a character he is interesting a bit callus and reckless at times but overall he is a great character I still love his banter with the vampire it makes everything just a bit more interesting. I am loving the plot we are back to the past with a younger Gabriel he is learning things and fighting vampires and surviving learning more about himself and feeling enthralled by Astrid and caring very much for her at the last we are back to the future telling of why he decided to join Chloe rather than go back to his wife and daughter so I am really looking forward to reading more. 55%(view spoiler)[I am loving this book even with all of the sad parts the story is amazing. Gabriel is such a great character I just like everything about him never a dull moment with him around. I am loving the plot despite al of the tragedy and strife the group is still heading somewhere they run into many issues many of them die and only Gabriel and Dior seem to escape. So overall I am loving this book will continue soon. (hide spoiler)]

I love the characters I still love Gabriel as much as ever but the other characters are growing on they all have their moments that make them worth reading about. The plot is amazing from where I left off Gabriel is with Dior and ends up finding out Dior is female which was surprising the story then moves back to the past telling more of when he was young the battles and other things he had I really like his romance with Astrid also the relationship of Aaron and Baptiste was surprising I am loving the story and action looking forward to reading more. 82%(view spoiler)[This book is amazing I love it so much the characters and the plot is just one of the best I have ever read. I just love the characters they are all so interesting. The plot is great from where I left off Gabriel and his group fighting against thousands of vampires with great romance in between we were back with him and Dior since he just found out she is a girl they then do on to a boat to get elsewhere where they are caught by nuns they fight and escape and that is as far as I have gotten looking forward to finishing. 100%(view spoiler)[I loved this book so even with the tragedy I am really looking forward to the next book. I still love the characters especially Gabriel and Dior his life is just full of tragedy and strife also for Dior she can never really find many people to count on and trust and not be betrayed. The plot was amazing we find out for sure Gabriel's family is dead I had a feeling but I hoped I was wrong after that he and Dior meet up with some familiar faces Chloe being one of them only for Gabriel to find out they planned to murder Dior he gets hurt trying to stop them and is saved by his sister Celene who was turned instead of her just dying he then goes to save Dior he saves her and now they just need to know what to do next I really think he is just waiting to do something looking forward to reading the next book.
