Carmichael Library Sci-Fi (Virtual) Book Club discussion

I am late to the game in finding out about this, but Northern Illinois University has been doing a series partnering authors and STEM experts. Past authors have included Jeff VanderMeer, Daniel Kraus (frequently co-authors with filmmaker Guillermo del Toro), M. T. Anderson (Feed), and Mary Robinette Kowal (Lady Astronaut series.)

The next webinar, The Haunted Mind, is described as "Why do some people believe they have experienced a haunting? Understand the science behind environmental and neurological conditions that shape people’s belief in ghosts or their tendency to experience delusions." In keeping with the spooky theme, writer Grady Hendrix (Paperbacks from Hell: The Twisted History of '70s and '80s Horror Fiction, The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires) is one of the guests.
