This was a poisonously good read and an interesting one. It is an enchanting historical work of murder, betrayal, trust and mystery. It was about two separate women in two timelines and how their lives intertwined.I must also say the cover is very gorgeous.Altogether it was a great read as the story itself is well paced and the writing is solid. Loved it!!!

This novel took place during the Liberation War of Bangladesh when East Pakistan separated from West Pakistan. It tells the struggle of Rehana, a young widow, to keep her family safe during the war.
Ok! Now, it got a three star from me cause.....
First of all, let me talk about 25th March when the genocide occurred. Rehana, Sohail and Maya was in the house of Mrs. Chowdhury where out of panic, Mrs. Chowdhury forced her daughter Silvi to marry Sabeer. The behavior of the characters were totally illogical. Next the characters development felt short for me. If I dive further than there are many questions. And then the end felt like the Pakistani Military Man was dumb headed like how come!! [I'm still thinking should I rate it 2.5 or 3 stars]

V.E. Schwab is one of my most favorite writer. It was the first book that I read of her and after that I read more of her books and I didn't hate any of them. Ig my lowest rating of her books until now is 4 stars.
Alright now about her writing style it is very addictive and the characters of this book are complex and about the world she created is just wonderful. Each and every events I found them insufferably good.And the magic; the language she invented is different.
I don't know what else to say but few days before starting this novel I didn't even knew that she existed if my brother didn't tell me about her books. I feel very lucky that I read it.

This is a cute book [I don't know what else to say] - LGBTQ+; international affair; first women president; politics and scandal - 💕.
This love story written by McQuiston is beautiful. The characters are actually sweet, witty, adorable,lovely,helpful,cute[I have a whole box compliments for them].
After reading the last page...... I felt like..... There is no book that will make me feel the way this one did.......

The reason I started this book is solely because I'm a huge fan of Star Wars. So, I thought let's read a book. I wasn't sure how it will come out as I never read a book of Star Wars. So, instead of starting a big novel I tried this series first just to check. It is the first book in the series and it wasn't a let down. Obviously, I didn't have any expectations but still. Now I guess I'm gonna try out a novel. [The other two books also got 4 stars from me as it didn't improve but it also didn't become worse.]
