Ansie Ehrke (author_ansie_ehrke) | 1 comments Hi Dolly!

you looking for an epic on-the-edge-of-your-seat fantasy read?

There are currently 2 books in the series titled The Jenny and Jingles Chronicles - published on Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, Scribd and Apple Books.

If interested, let me know if you'd like digital copies of the books and which format you prefer.

Book 1: Olerium - The Jenny and Jingles Chronicles - The Beginning
In the first book of this series, Jenny and her dog Jingles are confronted by a world beyond the purple haze of her iPhone. Together, they embark on an epic journey to save not only their world but their destiny as well. The care-free girl Jenny once was soon begins to fade as tracking down escaped villains comes with its own risks. Will Jenny’s training be enough to stop her world from crumbling? And more importantly, what would that mean for the world beyond the purple haze?

Book 2: Olerium - The Jenny and Jingles Chronicles - Mind Control
As Olerium reveals its second secret to Jenny and Jingles, they are forced to come to terms with what being different truly entails. Finding the courage to keep fighting when fear lurks around every corner won’t be easy. And when an evil power takes over the minds of those dearest to Jenny, there is no telling where this strange new world will lead them…

The book is written as a comedy but is intended to be a ray of light in this darkening world.

Dillon Jepsen Hello Dolly,

I am seeking a review, hope you may be interested. My book is a spiritual nonfiction that is written to enhance others' perception on reality, pulling inspiration from a variety of schools of thought. The book does fit the 'interesting' and 'intriguing' that you describe. The book begins in the first chapter as a memoir of my early life and when I first developed schizoaffective disorder. Then in chapter 2 and so on it continues to expand into understanding more, and constructing a new way of perception on reality and the universe.

Thanks for considering me :)

Morgan Douglas | 5 comments Hi Dolly,

I would appreciate a review for my book Distorted Purposes. It is about a mass shapeshifting event caused by a technological device. Two characters in the book use this device to manipulate the leaders of the world into making what they consider to be positive changes. A group of individuals who were spared the fate of becoming shapeshifters set out on a journey to try and bring their loved ones back to their normal selves. The genre is suspense and thriller with action scenes but there is also a bit of romance.

Charles McCormack | 71 comments Hi Dolly,
I'm hoping you will be interested in reviewing my book, Essence. I learned this week that Essence won the Montaigne Medal which is given my the Eric Hoffer Book Awards program to the most "thought-provoking" works. It was the one winner out of over 2500 registrants.
Essence is a memoir and the story of my journey from abandonment and quasi delinquency to becoming an award winning psychotherapist. As I tell the story of my life, from abusive father, to the Jim Crowe South, to a sadistic boarding school experience in France at age 11 when I didn't even speak the language, observe and reflect on love, life, trust, relationships and the meaning of things. Though this might sound like a depressing read, and sometimes it is, it has been typically described as funny, beautiful, informative, thoughtful, and hilarious. So, let me know if you have the interest. Thanks much and all the best.
Here is the link. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=essence+by...
I'll arrange for you to receive a kindle copy if you're interested

Hi! I don't know if this thread is still active. Here is the link for my debut novel. It targets YA primarily but appeals to older adults. It's cross-genre: fantasy, anthropomorphic, Christian, allegory, action&adventure, myth&legend, alternative history, pre-historical fiction, literary fiction, etc.

Leia Barko | 0 comments Hi Dolly, I'd love it if you reviewed my YA dystopian book, Ruffian. Here is the synopsis:
Astra Hal is a Ruffian, a member of a secret organization created by the artificial intelligence Sigma, designed to be humanity’s last hope in case all else fails.

Hendric Sanjor is the son of a representative in the United Republic of Global Welfare, the ruling body of the world.

When a virus of unknown origins starts spreading across the planet and Hendric’s family is accused of starting it to gain political advantage, Astra is sent to investigate the issue. When it becomes clear that the accusation is false, the two form an uneasy alliance to hunt down the real perpetrator behind the pandemic. But the puzzles, criminals, and politics they weave through can in no way prepare them for the dark secrets they are about to uncover.

Thanks in advance and hope to hear back from you soon!

Kat (katwiththehat) | 2277 comments Just a quick note... the person who originally posted this thread hasn't been back in over a year. They do have their blog linked in their GR profile, so I might suggest contacting them there directly if they state they are still open to review requests.

message 17: by George (new)

George Veck | 3 comments Hi Dolly,

Would you be interested in reviewing my 48K word crime drama/literary fiction novel One Visit? I have it available in epub and pdf form. Below is the blurb :)

In sleepy, rural North Wales, Frankie Gibbs, a recently laid off, aimless twenty-year-old on Universal Credit, wants nothing more than to keep his younger brother out of the care system. He single-handedly takes this upon himself while their alcoholic, cocaine-addict, single-parent father, Guy Gibbs, heaps misery on their lives through systematic abuse and his never-ending wild parties. After Guy is sent to prison, Frankie is coerced into opening his home to Justin, an acquaintance from his school days now turned drug dealer, while his own addiction and self-worth spiral beyond recognition.

Best regards

George Veck

Julie McCarthy | 10 comments Hi thanks so much for offering reviews!

Not sure if you would be interested in reading reviewing my first book of poems or ditties! I published last August in kdp Amazon and it’s in kindle unlimited at moment on line only. I plan to put in paperback form soon!

I’ve written hundreds and chose only a few to fit my first smallish book 50 pages.

Thanks take care from Julie

Hi Julie! Not sure how active some of these older threads are. If you're interested, we offer reading rounds. There are none open at the moment, but check back every week or so and look for a thread that says "now forming" in the title. We'd love to have you join.

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

There's also the one for one list. Choose a book off the list in the first post of the thread. After you read, post your review links from GR/Amz and your book will be added to the list for someone else to choose. See the first post of the thread for full instructions.

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

There's also another Goodreads group that has reading rounds forming right now if you're interested:
