What do you think? I think it’s a curse. I, personally, would never like to live forever but that’s just me!

I would think it's a blessing but that's because then I would know what happens in the future

A curse. Everyone you know will die at one point and you’ll be left lonely. And it’ll be pretty scary if some sort of asteroid crashes and you’re all alone.

blessing, but I'll probably run away from my family's at a young age cause I don't want to feel sad when the die, so better no emotional connection.

A Blessing: To live forever. See the changes that occurs in the society, the improvement. I would get to meet and talk to people of different generations. If I live forever, I'd have enough time to see the entire world, explore, take part in various things in various ages. To know the world like no one else.

A Curse: All these things I mentioned will only be possible if I don't get attached to things. Like I get attached to a person, they'll die one day. Things I love, will change, maybe for worse. Maybe I won't see good things in future, maybe I'll witness an apocalypse.

So, you see, if I got the chance I would love to live forever only if I have the ability to end my life whenever I want to : )

It's a curse if you're the only immortal

I think it's a curse.

Curse because then you have to deal with people's stupidity and rudeness for all eternity. No thank you.

till now everyone looked at it from a smaller perspective and I agree with everyone that says it's a curse. but if we also look at it from a larger perspective, immortality would mean an increase in human population which is already a problem causing multiple other global issues. if anything human civilisation would be doomed and the world would end sooner, so immortality wouldn't do any good.

and to anyone saying it's a blessing because you can explore the world, that is only possible if you have a lot of money.

It depends, because for some people that would be a godsend! But for others who would actually kind of do anything to live forever it would make perfect sense.
But for me, this is not good because everything has its time so living longer than expected is not good in my opinion!

Here's the thing. Do you mean immortal as in stuck on Earth, immortal? Or as in when we die we go up to live in Heaven immortal?

I mean earth, but I guess you could go to the moon or something. You could also probably go to other planets because you can’t die, you can service I guess. But good point!

I think it's a curse. Some of you guys might think being immortal is a blessing, but I personally would not want to keep on living if everybody that I know and love is dead. It'd just make living pointless.

both kind of, a blessing because you get to live many years and see many things and a curse because you watch all the people you love die and what if you wanna stop living and you can't so you'd be miserable

(im gonna elaborate on why I think its a curse :) )

Although yeah you get to live to see all the things, would you really want to? Like one, you're gonna be alone. Two just because you're alive doesn't mean you're thriving. Realistically, you would have an elderly body, so you can't just run around traveling and experiencing life around you. Three, Life is a journey, a book. All books have an end, so if you are immortal, you're become kinda stuck. Bonus: (this part is more religious so if your not into that my elaboration ends here) You're still gonna die when Jesus comes back soooooo.

Yeah I agree with Luna- everyone you love dies and if you live forever you'll just watch people come and go-

It's a curse cause then while everyone dies and go to Heaven, you are stuck here on earth.

It’s a blessing if everyone became immortal but a curse because the world would be overpopulated. And if your the only immortal person, it would be a curse to see all your loved ones go away but a blessing because you get to experience history and the future as well.
