Hi everyone! The name is Fëalórin. Or Josh. Or J.S. whichever is easiest to remember. ;)
I'm 18.
I finished the second book earlier this year. The saddest part for me was Sara Cobbler's abandonment by Janner. *cries*
I like to write, read, do graphic design, and make coffee and tea magically disappear.
I'm a Christian (which is not so unique), and I attend a church that is part of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (which is perhaps more unique). N.D. Wilson and his dad, Douglas Wilson (controversial author/pastor) are also members of this denomination. :)

Hey everyone! I’m Carina. I’m 18. I read the Wingfeather Saga a few years ago- I devoured all four books within like a week so I’m hoping to reread it soon. :) I’m a Christian! I have a lot of hobbies. But some of my top ones include drawing, reading, and learning Spanish.

Leeli is the character I can relate to the most, but as far as favorite characters, I would also have to say Peet/Artham :)
Just curious, Fealorin, is the denomination you’re a part of the same thing as Reformed or is that something different?

I mean, I'm gonna be honest, (and I'll post this in detail on the fourth book discussion if I can make the technology to workettthh....), I love the ending. It's sad, but it's so hopeful. I love it with all my being!!!! but it shocked me. Baddd.

Hi Carina! That's so cool that you finished the Wingfeather Saga in a week. You read like my 12-year-old brother. I wish I had your appetite for reading. XD
But to answer your question, yes, the church I attend is Reformed. We have a liturgical service and sing psalms (not exclusively, though), so we're that kind of church. But I like it. :)

Thanks, Denali! And thank you for starting this! That's cool that you're a charismatic. My brother and his wife attend are also charismatics. One thing I love about the body of Christ is that we are so diverse and different, and yet we are all united in our belief and love in Christ.
The Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches is a relatively obscure denomination founded in the late 20th century. We have over 100 churches across the United States, Eastern Europe, and Tokyo (just one XD). We celebrate Reformation Day on October 30, have presbytery (an annual meeting of representatives of churches within a region), and those of us who are old enough have no qualms about consuming beer in moderate quantities.
I think it's cool that everyone here loves Peet.

It's so cool that your brother is charismatic. I love meeting people who are friends with charismatics because then I get to see what it's like looking at us from the outside lol. And you're so right! I love how we can be all different denominations but we all love Jesus the same and all want to worship Him, it's just how we express our worship that differs. It's literally beautiful!
And Peet is clearly the best character. Hands down.

I’ve finished the series (Y’all so good)
My reaction was blank. I just stared at the pages unable to do anything. I’m not a book cryer (yes, I have a cold heart 😂) so I didn’t cry, but I really really wanted to. First of all, IT HAPPENED TOO FAST. I was NOT expecting it in any sort of way. I could go on and on, so I must stop there, before I start to scream.
More than anything, I love God with all my heart. He’s my Savior and someone who guides me through my daily life. 💛

Something unique about me is that I’m obsessed with listening to music from movie soundtracks. They’re weirdly good.

And I'm not really a book crier either (I have a very cold heart - necessary for all the fighting I have to do as a Throne Warden 😁) but I cried.
I LISTEN TO MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS TOO!!!! I literally listen to LOTR, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Gladiator on repeat, interspersed with the Epic Battle Music genre for motivational boost...

Hi!I'm Archer. I'm 19, and I'm a Throne Warden to a High Queen, Song Maiden, Lore Wain, and... whatever a fifth sibling would be in Aerwiar, LOL.
I'm a Christian. Denomination is a little tricky because there are some detail points where I don't fit neatly within the "lines," lol, but the core of my theology lines up with the points of Reformed theology.
I'm also an author, I love music and was in choir for 12 years, I love studying mythology, I find theological discussions fun, and... worldbuilding is one of my favorite things.
I've read the whole Wingfeather Saga (though I really need to reread it, since it's been ages since I read the first one!) and I BAWLED at the end. I don't cry at books almost ever, but... The Warden and the Wolf King got me. (The end of Monster in the Hollows almost made me cry, but not quite. In part because I was in public so I worked at holding it back. XD)
My favorite character is Tink, but I related to Janner the most.

I had gotten to the exciting part in the third book when we were driving home from a mission trip. I got out of the car and was so excited to get home so I could finish the book that surely must end happily... I was sorely traumatized. And I cried...

Oh dear. Yeah, that one's... not the happiest. Though obviously not the most tragic by any means, lol. It was quite a beautiful bittersweet ending, in my opinion, but certainly sad.

Ooof I honestly hated the ending of the third book more than the fourth book. It's like the third book feels so final but there's actually hope left over at the end of the fourth book...

I saw the third book's ending more as one thing ending and another beginning, whereas I was honestly kind of torn on the epilogue of the fourth book. On the one hand HOPE??? On the other hand... if it did work does that cheapen what happened? I'm kind of picky about that sort of thing, lol. But I definitely thought it was done well, and it still makes me think! I still haven't decided which way I'd rather imagine that going. XD

Hello everyone! I'm Hope. I'm also a Throne Warden (which seems to be common in this group). I'm currently in college working on my biology degree with a public health concentration (a mouthful, I know).
I first discovered the Wingfeather Saga when Andrew Peterson did the readalongs during quarantine. I have since read the books twice and cried each time (multiple times, if anyone was wondering lol). I'm currently reading Wingfeather Tales.
It's quite difficult to choose a favorite character since it changes every time. Right now, I relate the most to Janner. So let's choose him lol.
