Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hi, the Goodreads author Robert Ornstein's list of books is fine, but the wrong Robert Ornstein and hence the wrong list of books show up in the add quote drop down selection box.

His books are on psychology, eg God 4.0: On the Nature of Higher Consciousness and the Experience Called “God”.

(Earlier a librarian had to combine editions attributed to different Robert Ornsteins).

(Or rather, only the other Robert Ornstein shows up when autocompleting the author's name).

Someone's also been spamming the "God 4.0" thread with testimonials from the book, rather than genuine quotes.

To add a quote, you would need to put two spaces between Robert and Ornstein to get the other author's books to come up. That is how Goodreads differentiates among authors with the same name.

If you link to invalid quotes here directly, we can see about deleting them.
