My husband gifts me a subscription to Book of the Month for a year every Christmas. It's the best and worst idea, hahaha! Happy hiking to you, too!

Hang in there, it shall pass eventually. I found that if I just move onto something else, not force a particular book, just keep trying different books until one book clicks. Sometimes trying a different style or genre than usual may work.

I just haven't had the brain power to read I think. Just my mashed potato brain re-reading the same thing over and over and not holding onto it. Hahaha!

Finally got around to this one, which I've had as an ARC since maybe November of last year. I will absolutely be pressing it into the hands of every hearing person I know. Deaf culture, Deaf community, Deaf history, ASL...truly people around me will be forced to read this so they can better understand me. XD

So many series from my teen years that weren't complete at the time and then because pre-Goodreads I didn't know when they finished, I never finished reading them. lol.

I have a love-hate relationship with the Eragon series! lol. But Paolini's adult sci-fi novel was really good!

I genuinely LOVED this one!! I love Caribbean fiction though, so I went into it assuming I'd enjoy it too. I loved a lot of what this book did, and I definitely think you should give it a go!! :) I wrote a lil review on my instagram @bravereads if you want to see what I thought! :)

I've read two so far and I loved them both. They read and FEEL like fairytales still, if that makes sense. It's what I particularly enjoy!
