Actually again I was told it was gonna be sad I didn't have AMAZING EXPECTATIONS

Ok so I started with this I'm 20 pages in and I already sense a problem so the thing is that Alicia the character who's "The Silent Patient" is writing a diary entry and the whole mystery essentially is why she's silent so if we are already reading her OWN diary entry the answer is straight forward given to us and this makes the mystery quiet less thrilling

Also the writing is flat
