Crafty Corner: Crafts every Tuesday at the Main Library. Most Tuesdays, crafts can be found both upstairs in Reference and downstairs in the Children's Department. Crafts on Thursdays. Nov. 4th and Nov. 18th from 3:30 to 6:30 at Willow Oaks.

Legal Aid: Every second Wednesday, upstairs at the Main Library. Receive free legal help from the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia (LASEV). Free & Open to the Public - Eligibility requirements apply.

NaNoWriMo: For the month of November, Hampton Public Library is celebrating National Novel Writing Month. Use the Virginiana Room at Main and the comfortable spaces at our branches to get cozy and start writing. See our Eventbrite and Facebook for additional details.

Adele'as Live Zoom Writer's Cafe: Nov 3rd and 17th. Noon to 1pm. Join Author & Writer Adele Gardner in a virtual Micro Poetry workshop where you will craft verses from 1-20 lines.

Willow Oaks Book Club: Little Fires Everywhere. Join us every first Saturday at 2pm for our online book club. On November 6th we will discuss Little Fire's Everywhere by Celeste Ng.

Adele'as Live Zoom Writer's Cafe: Nov 10th and 24th. Noon to 1pm. Join Author & Writer Adele Gardner in a virtual Micro Fiction Workshop where you will create stories under 500 words.

Northampton Book Club:The Poisoner's Handbook. Join us every second Saturday at 2pm for our online book club. On November 13th we will discuss The Poisoner's Handbook by Deborah Blum.

Adult Trivia Night at Willow Oaks: Nov. 18th, 5:30-7pm. This night will be a nostalgia night with the theme, "Harry Potter and the Wizarding World!" There will be a prize for the top place. Teams of 1 to 4 are allowed.

With A Song In Your Heart with Charlie O’Dowd: Nov. 20th, 2-3pm. Join us for a wonderful program presented by Tidewater Arts Outreach! With A Song In Your Heart is an invitation to EVERYONE to enjoy songs that brighten their spirits, that glow with their joy and uplift them when they’re down! Charlie O’Dowd will serenade old and young with classic kid songs, show tunes, and jazz standards. “I sing Acapella to encourage YOU to sing whenever - without the need of a piano or a guitar to back you up - in the car, in the grocery store - just sing!!!”
