To strike out text, you will put a small letter s between a greater and less than sign (<>) in front of the text that you want to strike out. At the end of the text that you want to strike out you will put a forward slash in front of the s. So you will have /s in between <> at the end of the text that you want to to strike out.

i'm trying so hard to figure this out, but it just keeps hiding the text completely rather than striking it out....help?
