Any other topics you’d like to discuss? Your overall opinion of the story?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments This is one of the best yet in the series for me. I had a few emotional moments in the story. I was worried that I wouldn't make it if Archie didn't survive. I love, love, love Penn and Lynne. They will make a great team for Jasper.

It makes me sad that we only have one more book to go.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I loved this story. I didn't have a clue who the killer or killers were at all. I was leaning toward Ella and her brother.

Like Sharon said, I love, love, love Penn and Lynne. Can't wait to see more of them. Since we're getting close to being caught up in this series, Angela Marsons better start writing faster.

Lynn (ftbooklover) I really enjoyed this one also. The reading was quick and easy, and I really liked the way the two cases tied together at the end. The emotional moments just added more to the story. I'll be sorry to see this series end. I am going to try to get a hard copy of Stolen Ones (Detective Kim Stone #15) by Angela Marsons , but so far none are available. I also purchased Angela Marson's romance book, If Only by Angela Marsons , and plan to read it after finishing this series.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Lynn, When I asked Marsons about Dawson's death, she told me there will be more books. I think they extended her contract to 25 or 26 books.

I thought about this a little last night, I'm wondering if the thought of promoting Kim is how she was going to end the series.

Wow! this series could go on for several more years, then, since she is only on book #15. I will definitely keep watching out for her books.

Wow. Ditto everything Sharon said! The mystery was extremely well designed, too.

Lynn, I’ve thought about that new book but haven’t taken the plunge yet. I’m very interested in your feedback.

There so many places for everyone to go in 10 more books. Kim is on the verge of promoting Stacey, which may mean another addition to the team. And, Alison may figure in more permanently (I hope so). Penn & Lynne may take several books to develop.

I don't have it yet, but I'm going to keep looking for it in paperback format. I do think I will go ahead and read her romance book, just to see what it's like, but I have another book I'm in the middle of that I will have to finish first.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I wonder if Lynne will join the team at some point. She worked with Penn in the past. Are couples allowed to be on the same team?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I just received an email from Angela Marsons.

I asked her about the sibling theme in her books. In addition, I told her how much me/we love her books and her characters.

"Thanks so much for your lovely message and so pleased you’re still enjoying the books.

Yes, sibling dynamics has always interested me. There are so many emotions mixed up in that particular relationship that I do like to explore it.

The characters all feel like part of my family too. When I pick up the pencil to start a new book I always find myself thinking ‘wonder what they’ve been up to while I’ve been away’. It’s a very strange feeling but I do understand what you mean.

I hope you enjoy Twisted Lies and can’t wait to share Stolen Ones next month."

Thanks for sharing that, Sharon.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments She always responds to my messages. Even before the buddy read I sent her messages about her stories and the characters. She always responds within a couple of days.

It's great when authors respond to their fans, especially with questions involving their books.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments I enjoyed this one very much and I couldn't help but notice the similarities with sibling rivalry to Child's Play.

I am glad to hear that there will be more books coming as I enjoy Marsons' storytelling and her characters. I do wish that Kim would get a love interest though (it's the romance reader in me).

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I hope for a romance for Kim too. Although I wonder if she would allow it as broken as she is. Several times she mentions that everyone she loves leaves her. I think she insulates her heart to prevent getting hurt.

I wouldn't expect it to happen all at once because she does need to learn to trust in this area. But there should be some growth for her character in this regard. It is sad that she is so alone when she obviously cares for people and has something to give.
