Tag the beekeeper and mead-maker of Burlington is a lonely guy with a past life as a pop star. But he has left that life behind and just wants to find a partner to share his quiet life on his farm. Caleb is a shy nerdy accountant who writes poetry and dreams of being able to make a living with his art. This is a sweet relationship story with a small conflict thrown in just to make it interesting, and it resolves quickly enough. I liked how this was a straightforward exploration of the development of a relationship. I thought there was too much sex - could have done without the fantasy sex scenes that seemed written just to pad the book. Surprisingly, I wanted a little more too, especially about Caleb's family. It thought there was potential there that was wasted, especially since Caleb's oldest brother is a lawyer and there was a tease about the legality of how Tag's band kicked him out. But this was a nice relaxing read. I give it 3.5 stars, but will round down.
