I keep hearing about people who've read certain books as many as six times!!! That's crazy stuff!

I've read some books in my favorite series like 10 plus times ....ahem. mostly audiobook

So far I’ve read the maze runner a total of five times…And there is no way I’ll stop rereading it any time soon!😅

Pride and Prejudice... I'm on my ninth go this year :)
Fantasy-wise, The Lord of the Rings, which I've read four times.

Michael Vey. I've read it 3 times

I have read Heidi countless times (plus The Great Molasses Flood and Black Beauty) for my daughter when she was little ;)

I’ve read “Alone yet not alone” around 5 times!

I've read Cast Of Stones around 6 times.

I barely read books over one time, but i've read "i am princess x" twice lol. A few years ago at a church retreat, i met a girl from VA and she read the Bible 8x! She's prob read it more tho as the years passed

Honestly, the book I've read the most would be Ally Carters' All Fall Down. I've already read it four times and I'm planning to go on my fifth round soon. 😅

Oh my goodness I LOVE her!! Embassy Row was so good! My favorite of hers is the Heist Society series.

The book I've read the most is Ella Enchanted. I've read that book so many times I have two copies: the beat up "reading copy" and my nice "shelf copy".

I don't really reread books. There's always so many new books to try! There are definitely some that I would enjoy rereading, though!

My current obsession is Station Eleven which is a post-apocalyptic novel. (I haven't seen the show, and I totally loved the book before there was even a whisper of a show.) I haven't even entered all the dates on GR for when I've read and listened to it because I was starting to get embarrassed lol I'm up to at least 4 now.

While there is no explicit content, the book is not written in a YA style. It's one of those books that people seem to either love or feel totally meh about. Moderate your expectations if you decide to read and you might be surprised...

Ahhh The Count of Monte Cristo was the first really huge book I ever read. I felt so accomplished at age 14 or 15 lol

If I'm hyped up from a book after first reading it I read it a lot, and I read my favorite books (or try to) every year. I try to make it a habit to read all books I like twice.

I've read Tiger Mosquitoes: A Medical Crime Thriller three times.
I've read my favorite book, Little Women five times, (plus an abridged version multiple times when I was younger).
I've read An Old-Fashioned Girl six times.
I've read The Rise of Ethrundson: Quest of a Thousand Questions four times in two years.
Ella Enchanted three times (I'm pretty sure more than that that I didn't mark before Goodreads).
The Chronicles of Narnia three times, again probably more, and a couple extra times for one of the books The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe because that's what I read first.

I reread books that I love, too, Helena! In fact, I have a "must-reread" shelf and basically anything on my favorites shelf I would also reread if the mood struck.

I have read the Lord of the Rings trilogy four times with my eyeballs and once with my earballs.

I've read Little Women at least 5 times and Little Men at least 3.

I have a "favorite reread" shelf too! 😂🙌

Oooh the sequels are amazing too, I've read them twice but I want to own them so I can read them more.

I just finished reading straight through the Bible yesterday and it feels pretty good to start back at Genesis. :)

WOW... thats srsly impressive, I've only made it throught the bible once and it took me like 9 months. I haven't re-started though

I've found that the YouVersion Bible app is really helpful with keeping me on track with my daily Bible reading. They have all kinds of "plans" for different lengths of time (week, month, 3 months, year, etc.) and either the whole Bible or portions (book, NT, OT, the epistles, the gospels, the Pentateuch, etc.). The fastest I've ever read the Bible was 5 weeks, but I was reading between 6-8 hours per day. It was amazing. I noticed so many connections between books and between the Old and New Testaments. Highly recommend if you can make time for it. However, I typically read through it once a year. It's our daily food!

I mean... the Bible XD I stopped counting a few years ago, and I had already read it around 15 times (KJV version)

Outside of that, probably the Hunger Games series. Easily one of my top favorite series

The Queen’s Thief Series by Megan Whalen Turner. First time was during Covid, and I’ve probably read them around 7 times since then!

Harry Potter has always been a series that I reread whenever I need a comfort read. They make me happy and whenever my mental health gets really bad, I find that returning back to my childhood faves always makes me feel a little better.

@Tiffany (& Kacie, too), I get what you mean about “comfort reads.” I turn to The Queen’s Thief when I need a familiar read due to stress in my life or having just read something heavy or a book that bothered me in some way. Picking up those books gives me a “going home” feeling. If I had read Harry Potter when I was young, I would probably turn to them, too. They’re so good!

Guys!! That's honestly so impressive. The most I've ever reread a book is once . . . although actually, I guess I have listened to some books by audiobook a couple times after reading the actual thing. Pretty sure that counts lol

For actually reading a book (other than the Bible in that case I’d say… Ephesians probably) “Raiders from the Sea” by Lois Walfrid Johnson which I’ve read 4 or 5 times.
Audiobooks however would be hands down “Sir Malcolm and the Missing Prince”. The Lamplighter Theatre version I’ve lost count how many times I’ve read it over the last 10 years but I’d say a minimum of 15 times. And a close second is –also a Lamplighter Theatre audio drama- “The White Gypsy”.
