30.5 - Judy's Task: Some SRC New “Favorite Things”

I have been doing the SRC for 12 years, and I finally finished!

In celebration during this season of “favorite things” I would like to share some of my favorites from doing the challenge over the years.

Read 2 books. You may do different options or the same option twice.
REQUIRED: State the option(s) when you post.

No books with the main page genre childrens or kids may be used for this task.

Option 1- Before I did SRC, I seemed to have missed out on reading many of the classics- or maybe I just forgot them.

Read a book with a main page genre Classics

Option 2- My fantasy reading was limited before the SRC. During one season there was a cover task requiring a reptile on the cover. Dragons qualified as reptiles, and I was introduced to the Temeraire dragon series which opened up more fantasy opportunities for me.

Read a book with at least a 3 word title where all the initial letters are in DRAGON and/or FANTASY
Letters may be used only as often as they appear in the target phrase.

Option 3- Science fiction was a new genre for me, but I have developed a love of space opera.
Read a book from this list

Excellent Space Opera

NOTE: This list specifically only allows book 1 of a series to be included. You may read any book in a series, if the first book is included on the list.
REQUIRED: State the page of the list your book appears on when you post. If your book is not specifically listed, state the page on which book 1 of that series is listed.

Option 4- My eyes aren’t as young as they used to be. Audiobooks help me to read when my eyes give up.

Read a book by a single author whose initials (first and last- you may ignore middle initials) can be found in AUDIOBOOKS. Letters may be used only as often as they appear in the phrase.

Julia (julia103) | 2719 comments For Option 2, since it says "and/or", does that mean that the title initials can span both words?

Three Ordinary Girls: The Remarkable Story of Three Dutch Teenagers Who Became Spies, Saboteurs, Nazi Assassins–and WWII Heroes (T in FANTASY, OG in DRAGON)
